Billed yearly they drop 25 percent to $14, $59, $119 and $230 a month. A free tier gives 3 articles with no card. Those are the US list prices on seowriting.ai/pricing. Several reviews still quote a 5-article free plan and older word limits; the vendor's page now counts articles, not words, on every paid plan.

The headline numbers are simple. What matters is which features unlock at which tier, because the cheapest plan leaves out the two things most sites need from an AI writer: internal links and external links. The vendor labels Professional Plus 1 as most popular, but the jump that matters is the first one. Going from Starter to Professional costs $60 more a month and is the only step that adds new capability rather than more of the same: internal linking, external linking and five brand voices. The two Plus tiers add volume, more brand voices and the option to buy extra credit packages.

Is there a free plan on SEOWriting AI?

Yes, but it is a sample. The free tier gives 3 articles and 25,000 words with no payment details. It leaves out the content score, real-time SERP analysis, bulk generation, brand voice and linking, and the WordPress MCP server works for 7 days. SEOWriting's own FAQ says paid plans produce better articles because of those features, so judge quality on a paid month, not on the 3 free drafts.

Divide each plan by its article cap. Month to month, a Starter article costs $0.38, a Professional article $0.32, a Plus 1 article $0.32 and a Plus 2 article $0.31. On yearly billing that falls to $0.28, $0.24, $0.24 and $0.23. Those are ceilings met only if you use every credit; a site that publishes 20 articles on the Professional plan is paying close to $4 each.

Which SEOWriting AI plan should you choose?

Pick Starter only if you will add links by hand and publish under 50 articles a month; it is a drafting tool at that tier. Pick Professional if you want the articles to arrive with internal and external links, which most blogs should; at $59 a month yearly it is the value plan. Pick a Plus tier only when you run several sites or a content operation that genuinely publishes 300 or more articles a month and needs 10 or more brand voices. The limit is what volume does to a site. Google's spam policies name scaled content abuse: publishing many pages mainly to manipulate rankings, however they are made. Using 250 credits a month does not break that policy by itself, but it puts the burden on you to make every page useful, and hundreds of thin posts can drag a site down.
